San Jose Remodeling: Giving Your Home a New Facelift
Everybody's doing it. Remodeling their homes that is, or so it would seem. While the housing market may be experiencing a temporary downturn, San Jose remodeling projects continue to hold steady simply because many San Jose home owners have decided to stay put in their current homes, opting to upgrade rather than move. The average home is about 33 years old and with the nation's aging housing stock, San Jose remodeling projects such as replacing windows and roofs are an ongoing necessity. But home age aside, people are adding on, upgrading and remodeling their homes in greater numbers than ever before. Every year, over 25 million homeowners in the U.S. make some kind of improvement to their homes and San Jose remodeling projects are no exception. Major remodeling projects now make up a large part of the money invested by homeowners. These include complete home remodeling, additions and kitchen upgrades.
Getting the Most Value for Your San Jose Remodeling Dollar
Keep in mind if you're planning on making improvements to your home, some San Jose remodeling projects will increase the value of your home more than others. Usually kitchen, bath and bedroom upgrades or additions will show the greatest return for money invested should you decide to sell. If you decide to give your house a face-lift it’s important to find the right remodeling contractor. Once you've chosen a remodeling contractor, you should talk with them about the best work for your house. Financing your San Jose remodeling project may also take careful consideration. If you need to borrow money for a major San Jose remodeling project, you should be aware that there are a number of ways to get the money you need. Don't over borrow and run the risk of eventually losing your home. You'll want to shop for a tax deductible loan with the lowest possible interest rates.
Planning Your San Jose Remodeling Budget
If you’re planning on undertaking your own San Jose remodeling project, it’s important to have a plan and determine your budget to see if your plan is financially feasible. You’ll have to decide if you need a loan and what type of loan will be best for you. You'll need to talk to your San Jose remodeling professional and make certain you can get all the necessary permits. It's true that a home remodeling project can be a trying time, but if you take the time to do a little research first and discuss everything with your San Jose remodeling contractor, you'll find that your remodeling job can be a complete success.

Jason Cline and Cline Construction are doing a third job for us. Jason and his company have proven to be fast, reliable, on time, & his crew is very polite and professional. They have done a full remodel of our kitchen (big job) and a replacement of a sliding patio door (small job) with equal care and enthusiasm. He is currently doing a kitchen remodel for a rental we have and has again proven to be extremely reliable. We have future plans of rework in our house and rental. Jason and his crew will certainly be there to do the work. We have recommended Jason to friends and they have been very pleased with his work. I recommend Jason and company to anyone who wants a remodel to their home.
We started with Cline construction thinking of using them only for part of our remodeling but ended up giving the complete work to them. My wife and I felt very comfortable dealing with them. They are not the cheapest but we are very happy with the finished product. In any remodeling project some things are bound to go wrong. What you want is a contractor willing to work with you and complete the work. Jason, who runs the show is the construction side and Kate who has years of cabinet design experience is the one who comes in the beginning to design and recommend the cabinets. We are satisfied with the quality and near timely completion.

He showed up on time for the work. If we had questions or asked for changes, he was very accommodating to get is done.
